Help 20 families survive in Gaza

My name is Ahmed, I am 24 years old from Gaza, and I am running this fundraiser to help around 20 families survive here.

Before the war, life was simple. I lived with my parents and younger brother in a small but beautiful home. My father had a stable job, my mother cared for us, my brother was studying, and I had just completed my first year in software engineering with good grades. Our home wasn't big, but it was full of love, peace, and hope for the future.

Then everything changed.

When the war began, we thought it would last only a few days. But soon, explosions reached our street, smoke filled the air, and we had to flee with nothing but what we could carry. Since then, we've moved from one place to another: first a crowded UNRWA shelter, then a storage warehouse, then a leaking rooftop room, and finally a tent on the street. That tent became our home for months.

Every day was a struggle. We often went to sleep hungry. We bought water just to cook and wash clothes. Sometimes we couldn't even find flour for bread. I watched my siblings cry from hunger and fear. I saw my parents, once strong and full of hope, completely drained. Our home is gone — bombed to rubble. My savings, my books, my belongings — all gone.

And yet, I know my family is not alone. I've met mothers with newborns sleeping on the ground. Children without shoes, carrying empty bottles waiting for water. Fathers trying to rebuild homes they may have to leave again. The suffering is everywhere.

That is why this fundraiser is not just for my family. It is for around 20 families in Gaza who have lost everything — neighbors, friends, people from my community — who urgently need food, clean water, medicine, and safe shelter.

I never thought I would be responsible for something like this, but I cannot look away. Together with volunteers and kind creators on TikTok, we are sharing our stories so the world can see us, hear us, and stand with us. Every dollar raised goes directly to helping families survive another day and believe that rebuilding is possible.
