Help Yassin Survive, Heal, and Rebuild His Family's Life in Gaza

My name is Yassin Nabil El Baghdadi,35, software engineer. father and from Gaza, Palestine. and I've always believed in the power of education to transform lives. Growing up, I dreamed of becoming an engineer, of building things that could make a real difference in my community. I've worked incredibly hard, balancing my studies with part-time jobs to contribute to my family and save for my future. Every textbook, every late night studying, felt like a step closer to that dream.

I lost my home, my job, and loved ones after our house was bombed. I survived being pulled from under the rubble with great difficulty, but I was left with a serious injury. I suffer from a painful dislocation in my left shoulder and urgently need surgery.

Due to the lack of medical facilities in Gaza and the closure of the border, I cannot receive proper treatment locally. I am waiting for any opportunity to travel abroad for medical care.

I care for my elderly mother, who suffers from chronic illnesses and hearing impairment, as well as my 7-year-old son who depends entirely on me. Recently, our damaged home collapsed after heavy rain, leaving us without safe shelter.

I am asking for your support to help me receive urgent medical treatment, secure temporary shelter for my family, cover essential living needs, and start a small self-reliance project to rebuild my life despite everything.

I am not asking for comfort — only for a chance to survive, heal, and protect my family with dignity.

It was incredibly difficult for me to reach out for help, but my family and friends encouraged me to share my story. This fundraising campaign is our last hope to start again.
