Humanitarian Support for an Injured Palestinian Engineer Unable to Work
Organized by Majd Burnat · Gaza, Palestine
My name is Majd Eyad Mohammad Burnat, I am 27 years old, from Palestine.
In 2014, I suffered a serious injury that resulted in a severed nerve in my leg, leaving me unable to move my leg properly. Since that injury, I have been living with a permanent physical disability that prevents me from doing any physically demanding work.
Despite my injury, I refused to give up on my future. I continued my education and graduated as a Civil Engineer, hoping to build a stable life through my knowledge and hard work. Unfortunately, due to the extremely difficult economic conditions in Palestine — combined with my physical disability — finding suitable employment has become nearly impossible.
Today, I am unable to work and struggle to cover my basic living needs. This campaign is not a request for sympathy, but a humanitarian appeal for support to help me:
• Cover essential living expenses
• Assist with medical and rehabilitation needs
• Maintain a dignified life under very challenging circumstances
Any contribution, no matter how small, can make a meaningful difference in my life. If you are unable to donate, sharing this campaign would mean just as much and could help it reach someone who can.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any support you can offer.
