Why we built this

PledgeFor started because of a simple problem: people in need couldn't access the money being raised for them. Platforms like GoFundMe didn't work in Palestine — they were blocked, unavailable, or couldn't process withdrawals. The alternatives that did work charged agents up to 50% in fees by the time money arrived.

We built a direct platform where donors give and people receive — no platform cut, no middlemen, no walls. Today PledgeFor is open to verified campaigns from anyone, anywhere in the world. The mission is the same: make sure the money actually arrives.

How we verify campaigns

Every campaign on PledgeFor is personally reviewed before it goes live. Organisers create an account, submit their campaign with supporting documents, and our team reviews each application individually. We check identity, verify the story, and confirm the payment setup. We do not publish anonymous campaigns or anything we cannot verify.

Where does the money go?

100% of your donation goes to the campaign. Stripe charges a standard card processing fee (2.9% + 30¢) which applies on every platform that accepts cards — but PledgeFor takes absolutely nothing on top of that. We do not profit from donations. What you give is what the organiser receives.

Who runs PledgeFor?

PledgeFor is an independent crowdfunding platform. We're not a charity and we don't take a cut from campaigns. We built this because we believed something better was possible — a platform that treats donors and organisers with respect, keeps fees honest, and makes sure money reaches the right hands. That's all this is.
