Help Alaaeddin Survive Today and Prepare for Tomorrow

My name is Casey, and I am raising funds for Alaaeddin.

Before the war, Alaaeddin was pursuing a Master's degree in Engineering. He had plans, goals, and a future he was actively building through education and hard work.

That future was interrupted when survival became the priority.

Over the past several years, Alaaeddin has endured circumstances that most people will never experience. He has been displaced multiple times, lived through repeated attacks, and survived incidents that could have easily taken his life. In one of the most significant moments, a bombing caused a building to collapse around him. He survived, but the experience changed his perspective completely.

Since then, his focus has been simple: stay alive and help the people he loves stay alive too.

Many people believed the violence would end. Many believed a lasting ceasefire would create a path back to normal life. Instead, uncertainty continues. Promises of stability have come and gone, while daily life remains dangerous, expensive, and unpredictable.

The reality is that survival requires money.

Food costs continue to rise. Shelter remains uncertain. Transportation, communication, medical care, and basic necessities have become ongoing challenges. Every day requires difficult decisions about how to stretch limited resources.

At the same time, Alaaeddin must prepare for future opportunities that may require significant financial resources on very short notice. Whether that means relocation, travel, documentation, temporary housing, or other pathways toward safety and stability, the costs are far beyond what most families could ever save on their own.

This fundraiser exists for two reasons:

• To help Alaaeddin meet the immediate costs of survival.

• To help him prepare for any opportunity that may allow him to build a safer future.

The situation has lasted far longer than anyone imagined. Many people have lost hope. Donations slow down while expenses continue to rise.
