Help Hikmat Survive and Seek Treatment

Hello, my name is Hikmet and I'm from Gaza. My intention for this campaign is to raise finances to support myself during a time of political crisis and high taxes; as well as, secure the means to travel abroad to further the healing and restoration of my body. When I was five years old, my grandmother and I were engulfed in a fire that threatened our lives; but my grandmother used her body to shield me, ensuring my survival. She died saving my life. I was left with severe facial burns that inhibit my breathing and a stricture in my urethra that keeps my body at constant risk of infection. I was able to receive some surgery and care, but this was halted in 2004. I will soon need to travel abroad to access updated medical attention. Additionally, I have three other people in my family who are vulnerable from disability. Throughout the war, we have had to relocate sixteen times. I am fighting to be strong enough to help my family and honor my grandmother's sacrifice. Please help me complete this journey with a donation or share.
